Alma Jane's was slowly, lovingly and carefully created by the dreams and desires of Tacoma native and thirty-year collector, Kathy Gregersen. Kathy has called La Grande home since 2003, when she and her husband purchased a 1906 four-square home on Second Street. Kathy's mother, Alma Jane Jordon, is a Kansas native who has also been a La Grande resident for the past few years. Alma Jane always enjoyed entertaining, setting her table with beautiful china, crystal and pottery and surrounding herself with fine linens. Her love for these sweet treasures inspired Kathy to create Alma Jane's -- a store which offers time-honored goods from a more "gentle time."
